Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony’2023

The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for the session 2022-23 for classes Nursery to V was held on 14th September’23 and for classes VI to XII on 15th September’23.

On these days, the position holders were given certificates and shields. The students who attained 100% attendance were also awarded with certificates and shields. The occasion concluded with the inspirational and motivational words to always keep trying, by the Principal, Mrs. Rekha Kumari.

Cleanliness Drive – “Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Sath”

The students of Lawrence Public School, C-3,Janakpuri, gave their positive contribution to the Swachh Bharat one hour Shramdaan mission initiated by our honourable Prime Minister Sh. Modi ji on 1st October'23 between 10 am to 11 am.

Around 80 student volunteers of our school participated in this mega event .

The highlights of the event included the PLEDGE on Swachhta and a song sung by our students to spread awareness and importance of cleanliness in our lives. Lots of Slogans on Swachh Bharat were prepared by our students and were amicably recited in our school's rally.

An assembly was also held where the head of the institution addressed the students to mark the importance of today's event. Our neighborhood Park was selected for cleanliness drive and the whole park along with all the swings were thoroughly cleaned thereafter. The event was successfully and fruitfully managed and done.


Competitions facilitate the development of various domains of mind and personality of an individual. Keeping this in mind, The Lawrence Public School has organised various Inter-House Competitions in the months April’23 to August’2023.

The competitions were inclusive of Drawing, Solo singing, Show and tell; Hindi & English Extempore, Recitation, Debate and Declamation; Punjabi, Urdu Recitation, Mono Acting, GK Quiz and Power Point Presentation and various competitions of our tiny tots of classes Nursery & Prep. The performances by the students were very mesmerizing and exuberating. All the participants were appreciated and the winners were given certificates.

Investiture Ceremony (2023-24)

In order to instill confidence, self reliance and a zeal to compete with responsibility, the students of The Lawrence Public School are grouped in the designated Houses. Our school has a profound House System consisting of four houses i.e. Sanskriti House, Shakti House, Jagriti House and Pragati House. The House Meeting for this session was held on 29th April’2023. Krish Mittal (XII Science) & Vaishali Parashar (XII Commerce) were titled as Head Boy and Head Girl. Also, each house selected their respective Captain, Vice Captain & Activity Incharges and all the students took an oath to conduct their duties without any personal bias. The ceremony ended with the motivational speech by the Principal, Mrs. Rekha Kumari and Vice Principal, Mrs. Vandana Kumari. The rolling trophy was awarded to Pragati House for the academic session 2022-23.

Children's Day Celebration

On the 14th November’2022, the Lawrence Public School organised the celebrations of Children’s Day for classes Nursery to V. The day started with a cultural programme in which students performed dances, skit and spoken about the importance of the day. Students participated in Garland Race, Draw a Face, Pyramid Race, Jumbled Letters, Back Race, Hurdle Race, Sack Race, Shuttle Run Race and Lemon Spoon Race. They participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The audience cheered the participants. The winners were appreciated and awarded with certificates and colourful entertaining prizes. The programme was concluded with the Principal Mam’s Speech

Inter – Class Competition

The school provides a platform to the students to showcase their hidden talents, existing calibre and potentialities. Keeping this goal in mind, The Lawrence Public School organised Inter Class Competitions for the classes I to XII. A large number of students participated in Ramp Walk, Bookmark Making, Book Cover Decoration, Ear Bud and Vegetable Painting, Salad Making, Shakes and Coolers, Best Use of Waste, Patriotic, Devotional and Folk Song and Radio Jockey. The students took immense interest in participating for such competitions. The winners were given certificates and appreciated for their efforts.

The school has the tradition to maintain the spirit of competitiveness among its students through various House competitions. The House members and students put their best efforts in maintaining this tradition. The joy and pride on the faces of students as well as the coordinators of the House know no bounds when the house outcomes the competition with flying colours.

Annual Day Function

The school celebrated its Annual and Prize Distribution Function on 14th February, 2015 on its successfully completing 39 years of its marvelous services to the society and cause of education. Hon’ble Ms. Kamlesh Kaur Chauhan (D.D.E.) and Maha Mandleshwar Swami Dharam Dev Ji (Patuadi) consented to be the Chief guests and appreciated the services of the school.  On this occasion students of Class XII, who had shown excellent results above 90% and distinctions in all five subjects had been honoured with certificates and trophies.

Here comes a time, but once in the annuals of a school, when it celebrates Annual Day Function – a time needed for celebration for rendering thanks to God for reflecting on the spirit and zeal which proves to be an inspiration to make our apostolate relevant to the people of our times.

Students of our school are ahead not only in academic or co-curricular activities but they are more enthusiastic and have a winning ability in sports also. School’s Sports Day motivates the students towards “Healthy mind in a healthy body.”


In our school all the festivals like, Independence Day – the breadth of life to nation, Raksha Bandhan – the bond of protection of the sisters by their brothers, Janamashtmi – the birthday of Lord Krishna, Dusshera – the victory of goodness over evils, Diwali – the festival of lights, Christmas – tho festival of love and fraternity etc. are celebrated with great fervour, enthusiasm, patriotism and utmost devotion. The hightlights of the programme concludes with a very captivating cultural programmes.
