There shall be regular written exam (Pen and Paper).


 

Co Scholastic Areas : 3 points grading (A, B, C) 

  1. Physical Education, yoga, health and well-being (participation) 
  2. Work Education: Participation, team spirit, commitment of honest efforts.
  3. Art and Craft Education participation, patience, neatness, Cleanliness, visual or performing art.
  4. Social or Emotional skills: Social or Emotional and behavioral skills 

Promotion guidelines for classes 5th and 8th :

  1. Student must secure at least 33% total marks in each subject.
  2. If the child fails in the exam referred to you, he/she shall be given additional instruction and granted opportunity for the re-examination.
  3. Re-examination will be held in all the failing subjects. 
  4. If student does not secure at least 25% marks in the Re-exam he or she will be placed in the category of - Essential Repeat, will be held back in the same class.
  5. Without medical absent will be marked in examination, if exams skipped on medical grounds, exam will be conducted with the Re-appearing students for classes V and VIII.
  6. If attendance / presence of student remains below 75% in school, he/she will not be eligible to appear in the annual exams. 

 

Promotion Rules for IX and XI will be as per CBSE guidelines.
